I have never used it orally and not sure it is safe to do so. If the product claims to be useful for mouth rot, then I would imagine they have tried it but in my practice I have never used it or recommended it for mouth rot. If you suspect mouth rot or any kind of oral issues it is safer to visit your reptile veterinarian for help.
