March Break is one month away and nothing planned? Fear not, it is not too late!
If you are thinking about staying close to home, ski hills in Canada are offering some great options for some family fun.
Blue Mountain in Collingwood has a great line up of activities taking place both on and off the mountain. Students can take advantage of discounted lift tickets at $39 for all elementary and high school students.
Each day, there will be themed events to enjoy and prizes to be won. Enjoy scavenger hunts, guided snowshoe tours, birds of prey shows, face painting, outdoor ski and snowboard movies, fire dancers, glow in the dark broomball, indoor movies for resort hotel guests, fireworks and the popular free outdoor concert featuring Suzie McNeil on Wednesday, March 14.
On Vancouver Island, Mount Washington Alpine Resort has some great spring specials. Join the Mountain Kids Snow School for Holiday fun during their Spring Break Camps. These campes are designed to help your child improve their skiing or snowboarding skills and to have some fun rip'n around the mountain. Group sizes are small, with a maximum of six kids to one instructor. The Kid's Three-Day Holiday Camp is $160 and the Five-Day Camp is $270.
